If you grew up believing that God created the world, that he is the author of all life, you have  probably had those beliefs challenged, perhaps even ridiculed. God gets a lot of bad press these  days. And when it comes to the beginning of the world, many people believe that the Genesis  story of creation is just a myth. Science long ago proved creation wrong, they tell you. And they point to the evidence: Darwin’s  Theory of Evolution, fossils, and facts about the age of the earth. Science actually hasn’t come up with the evidence to  discount the Genesis story of creation, much as some people would like to think it has. And why does this matter, anyway Because it’s about more than the beginnings of life. It’s about  what life means, about your value, and whether you should care about right and wrong, kindness  or cruelty, peace or war. This is about whether life is worth living.
